Valid Reminders

Prevent Your Vessel Documents Expiring With This Brand New Client Feature.

Two weeks ago, a customer was complaining about how they forgot to renew their vessel registration. “I always forget to renew when f***ing Florida gives me that random renewal date since [the boat] is in an LLC.”

So I set out to build an automated system to help. Every once-in-a-while I’ll see a frustrated client and try to build a solution to the problem. In great scenarios, I can build a scalable solution to help everyone.

PROBLEM WE’RE SOLVING:

Preventing The Surprise Expiration of Vessel Documentation

We’ve all been there. So wrapped up in life you forget your vessel registration or insurance policy (or both) have lapsed. Or you may only learn of your expired USCG document from an impromptu boarding by armed border patrol. Not a comfortable scenario.

Preventing these annoying situations would be time well spent.

So we designed a notification system called Valid Reminders, where you create a vessel profile, upload your documents, and receive informative email reminders in four scenarios:

  1. 60 Days from Expiration

  2. 30 Days from Expiration

  3. On Expiration Day

  4. Whenever Documents Are Added/Updated

Each reminder email includes all the information you’ll need in order to renew the relevant document.

Valid Reminders is free and available now on our website, and helps manage your state registration, USCG documentation and insurance policy. Valid Reminders is a bonus feature of our Valid Vessel program, which is designed to keep your vessel properly prepared for recreational or commercial charter cruising.

We also allow you to assign someone to receive the reminders and you can setup multiple boats.

Get four FREE automated vessel documentation reminders from Valid Vessel.

Emails come from “Valid Vessel” and notify you of your document’s current status.

All Valid Reminder emails include the necessary information to keep you informed.

Valid Reminder emails even remind you of unspoken terms, like your policy type and navigation limits; something commonly overlooked when enjoying the water.
