DISCO VOLANTE. THE SECRET AGENT TREATMENT.
“Give me the technology of today, but don’t lose that timeless energy.”
It was a simple request, but not the simplest workload. When we took the Disco Volante job, we wanted to be as diligent in our planning as possible. The boat had great bones, but a technology upgrade without a full paint job means upgrading systems without convenient access. The job list was lengthy and the timeline was tight. Our owners wanted to get to enjoying their boat.
We started with a facelift: brand new upholstery and a full wax. Then we moved to upgrading the sound system and refining the dashboard: upgrading the screen size, renewing the controls, wiring all ship systems through the chartplotter and refining the component locations for a streamlined captain’s experience.
