The Maori name is still quiet in the American market. To those cruising Italian waterways each summer, however, it’s the pinnacle island hopping tender. It’s a grand fusion of RIB and luxury day boat.
Maori started its journey over 15 years ago building low-profile, beamy tenders. Recently they launched their 64, which I considered a more function version of the Lamborghini 63. They are doing stealth style right, with a quiet presence around the world. Their coolest deliveries include a limo tender on Lurssen's M/Y Madsummer and larger superyacht projects at 94' and 125'.
Their newest addition to the fleet is the Maori 46, a great fit for the American market, and rival to the Wally Tender (48’). The 46 will give you sports-car performance, and modern edge in design, and a fit/finish to rival anyone in the class.
HOW CAN I GET ONE?
The first and only Maori 46 in the United States lands in Miami this November. As with most new model launches, its fully, fully, fully loaded with an MSRP of just over $1.8m.

In 57 feet, Halo delivers significantly more usable top deck square footage than a Vanquish 58, without giving up its sporty side-profile. Yes, it doesn’t have a name in day boats… yet, but its pedigree is outstanding. The Halo 57 is built at Alia, home to 54m m/y Al Waab (winner of multiple awards in the under 499GT category) and the 36m m/y Phi Phantom (one of the industry’s most talked about support vessels).
Dayboat pedigree? No. Super yacht pedigree? Yes.

Halo will build three units to spec for 2024, with the first delivering May 2024. Interior options include 2 full bedrooms, an open master with kitchen, or a lounge layout.

BLUEGAME BG72

After seeing this up close in Cannes in 2022, the Bluegame BG72 remains my favorite boat on the water, highlighted by a gigantic swim platform, a secluded and covered cockpit, super yacht pilot house, unique aft salon, sizable front bow, and much more. The supply of the BG line has been prioritized in Europe, yet now more supply is directed to the US market. While the off-board view may seem unorthodox, once you step on board, the previously misunderstood design makes all the sense in the world.
