The client’s profile included a larger 100+ ft. Azimut in need of a tender for local cruising and charter activity. The family had their eyes on a VanDutch 40, yet with limited inventory the options left us without much value. Consideration turns to a smaller, more versatile boat, and Reed’s awareness of a one-of-a-kind VanDutch 30 in Vancouver suddenly recalibrated the client’s needs.
The VanDutch 30 would be cheaper to operate, easier to manage alongside the mothership, and command a similar price point being almost four years newer than the VanDutch 40’s on the market. RN Marine traveled to Vancouver to experience the boat first hand, confirm its quality, and arrange a survey.
The 30 was then imported into the states, delivered to Florida, and run through a small yard period to prepare the boat for towing and chartering. Services included a USCG safety inspection through RN Marine’s Valid Vessel process, installation of a custom tow hitch, upgrades to the sound system and fresh water system and a detail and wax.
“VANDUTCH” was listed at $357,000 at the time of sale.
