How Did Wajer Happen?

A brief history of how the prominent Dutch day boat brand came to be.

1992 - FOUNDED | Building the original Wajer Launch out of the Netherlands.

2006 - NEW MODEL: WAJER 37 | Built their first modern day boat with the Wajer 37.

2013 - NEW MODEL: Wajer 38 | Renewed the product vision with the Wajer 38.

2016 - NEW MODEL: WAJER 55 | Extension of product line with Wajer 55, which would later introduce hard top (HT) and sport (S) editions.

2021 NEW MODEL: WAJER 77 | Introduce the larger Wajer 77 with the industry's largest celebrity partner, Tom Brady.

2023 NEW MODEL: WAJER 44 | Finally filled the void between the 38 and the 55 with the all-new Wajer 44.

Wajer’s paramount feature is intangible; just by looking around, you’ll feel premium quality and engineering. From their Dutch shipyard they manufacture a variety of the impressive accessory components, from the integrated vessel management system to ergonomic, shock absorbing captain’s chairs. The $6m+ Wajer 77 is the pinnacle of Wajer design, feeling beautiful and like a fortress all at the same time. With heavy doors, reinforced floor paneling, thick stone accents and soundproofing throughout, you won’t find a cheap engineering component anywhere, especially in the cabin, yielding a safe and secure comfort level unique to a boat this size.Description text goes here
Overall volume is limited with Wajer’s classically flared bow and aft gunwales hugging the centerline. These characteristics will never make Wajer voluminous so those looking to host large groups in comfort should seek another solution.
Wajer is the first to enter into real estate, with its Miami Marina. The marina is exclusively lifts, capable of housing 18 vessels with about half being Wajer 55s. The slips don't come cheap, about $5,000, yet allow Wajer’s own service team to keep an eye on and maintain your boat (additional cost).
When build quality is priority, Wajer leads the way. The leaders in the dayboat segment have continuously improved build quality as a whole in recent years, yet Wajer remains in a league of their own. Don’t expect to get a deal, quality comes at a cost here, yet the increase is something even a novice can rationalize after spending a few minutes on deck. Beyond intangibles, Wajer works with a wide variety of materials, stones, metals, woods and other accent pieces, to design the perfect aesthetic.
