The Insider Scoop

  • A hull design with a personality, the best speed in its class and a bow area that’s closed more deals than any other feature.

  • Maximized space in the main cockpit and cabin. Vanquish mounts its windshield to interior walls which double as a walkway to the bow. This design feature limits the main cockpit seating area, while the bow seating area limits headroom in the cabin. If maximizing cockpit and cabin space is your angle, Vanquish isn’t for you.

  • Vanquish remains operated by its founder, Tom Steentjes. Although a fund bought ownership a few years ago, Tom is still heavily involved, and VQ is the epitome of vertical integration. He is involved in every sale, much of the service and support, and the brand’s production facility in the Netherlands.

  • Simply put, if speed and overall top deck space are a priority and you prefer a modern edgy look, VQ will check a lot of boxes. Vanquish is also where to turn if you want to challenge the status quo with your own vision. And no, that’s not marketing-speak, they’ve built an 80 sportfish by request.
